The Heartsaver First Aid Online With CPR & AED Part 1 offers companies a complete, flexible solution for safety training. Employees
are able to complete training at their own pace and in less time. This online course works well for workplaces that need to provide first
aid training to their employees, but face many logistical challenges using classroom-based training.
The Heartsaver First Aid Online With CPR & AED course requires successful completion of the online portion, a first aid skills session
and a CPR Skills Test in order for students to receive their Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card.
This online course teaches the same material as the classroom-based Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED Course. Topics covered
include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR, and AED use.
How it works:
Part 1. Complete the online, cognitive portion of the course. Students can complete this portion either at the workplace or anywhere
with Internet access. Students complete a series of modules that cover all required topics in the AHA Heartsaver First Aid With CPR &
AED Course. As with the classroom-based course, following each section of the online course, students complete a series of review
questions. When students have finished all modules, a certificate of completion will be available for them to print. The certificate is
required to complete Parts 2 and 3.
Part 2. Complete the hands-on skills practice session with a Life 1st Instructor. Students may practice until they are confident in their
ability to perform CPR.
Part 3. Complete the CPR & AED Skills Test with a Life 1st Instructor. Upon successful completion of the skills practice session and
skills test, the student receives an AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card.
